New Minion Mania Game Unveiled, and the BeanBoozled Challenge Will Never be the Same
An exciting new way to take the BeanBoozled Challenge joins Jelly Belly Candy Company’s special line of products in its BeanBoozled® Minion Edition. Minion Mania is a new board game that combines BeanBoozled, the popular game of look-alike jelly bean pairs, with the humour and entertainment of the iconic Minion characters. The new game, in partnership with Illumination and Universal Pictures’ Despicable Me franchise, is scheduled to be on store shelves in time for Christmas.
Minion Mania comes with a traditional game board, but it gets untraditional from there. Players grab their favourite Minion and try to beat their friends to the finish line in Minion Mania. The spinner directs the player to the Jelly Belly® jelly bean he or she will have to eat, but with ten look-alike pairs and options including Ba-na-na or Pencil Shavings, and Green Apple or Minion Fart, you never know what flavour you will have to eat. Challenges throughout the game await players on the game board, including direction to talk like a Minion and replace every other word you speak with “Ba-na-na!” Each Minion Mania game box comes with a game board, spinner, game die, six game pieces and four 54g bags of BeanBoozled jelly beans from the new collection.
Known for sweet and subversive characters, Minions bring even more mischief to BeanBoozled. Players will be up against lookalike flavour pairs including Minion Fart or Green Apple, Pencil Shavings or Ba-na-na, Barf or Peach, Booger or Juicy Pear, Canned Dog Food or Chocolate Pudding, Caramel Corn or Mouldy Cheese, Dead Fish or Strawberry Banana Smoothie, Rotten Egg or Buttered Popcorn, Spoiled Milk or Coconut, and Stinky Socks or Tutti-Fruitti.
Consumers all over the world are taking the BeanBoozled Challenge. The line consists of ten pairs of identical looking Jelly Belly jelly beans with very different flavours. One could be delicious while the lookalike is frightening.
Jelly Belly dares the bravest sweets lovers, pop culture enthusiasts and foodies to try their luck with look-alike pairs of jelly bean flavours. Each colour is either a delicious flavour or a wild one. Is it Peach or Barf? Is that Tutti-Fruitti or Stinky Socks? There’s only one way to find out! With more and more fan videos uploaded online every day, the BeanBoozled® Challenge is a cultural phenomenon.
